I've heard those first two weeks are rough . . . but if you survive that you'll be ready to set some good habits. Good luck!

Hey, Lisa. Having done phase 1 of SB a couple of times, IME there were not enough carbs to have energy to do any exercise. If you want to continue to Tapp during Phase 1 you're going to have to modify it by eating 2-3 servings of whole grains a day. Probably the easiest way to do this without getting on a slippery slope is to eat sprouted grain bread, a couple of pieces a day.

Oh, and don't be fooled by that ricotta and sweetener "dessert." It's no good with a capital NG. Blech.

Good luck. The first time is the biggest loss with SB, but you probably won't lose anything until Day 8.

diets are so hard, the only way I can do it is if I can have something sweet and frequent.
